Mark's Kitchen

Mark's Kitchen is especially community focused and serves the community by sponsoring regular monthly restaurant benefits to support local non-profit organizations and institutions that serve Takoma Park residents. These benefits are generally held on the third Tuesday of each month. In connection with these benefits, Mark's Kitchen usually donates 15% of the day's sales to the participating organization.

During 2004 and 2005, Mark's Kitchen contributed a total of $15,000 to local non-profit organizations and institutions. Under its community support program Mark's Kitchen has assisted Historic Takoma, Takoma Park Child Development Center, Community Ministry of Montgomery County, Food and Friends, Takoma Children's School, Takoma Park Elementary School PTA, Takoma Foundation, Takoma Jazzfest, Takoma Park Meals on Wheels, Mautner Project, Takoma Park Volunteer Fire Department and other organizations.
